Even in the middle of a government shutdown, hungry children can’t wait.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Appalachia has just been notified that federal funding for our children’s meal program will only cover meals through October. After that, we have no guarantee that the meals we serve will be reimbursed. But hunger doesn’t stop because Washington can’t agree — and neither will we.

Every day, our Clubs feed hundreds of children across southeastern Kentucky — many of whom rely on these meals as their only dependable source of food. We’ve promised to keep feeding them until we can’t.

Your donation today goes directly toward keeping our kitchen doors open, our vans running, and plates full. Every $10 helps provide five meals for a child who might otherwise go without.
